Limited Warranty
DELEKS USA, Inc.
Version 2.2 · Effective date: September 1, 2026
Applies to products delivered on or after that date.
AT A GLANCE
What we cover: Defects in materials and workmanship on new DELEKS products under normal use and maintenance.
How long: 12 months on the complete machine — with extended coverage of 36 months on gearboxes and 24 months on frames and hydraulic cylinders.
What you get: Replacement parts shipped free within the continental United States, plus labor reimbursement at the flat rates in Appendix A when professional repair is authorized.
How to claim: Contact us within 90 days of the failure with your proof of purchase, serial number, and clear photos or video.
Before first use: If your machine is PTO-driven, check and cut the driveshaft to the correct length before you run it. A driveshaft left too long is the single most common cause of damage we see — see Section 13.
Before you repair: Wait for our written authorization. Repairs started without it are not reimbursable.
This Limited Warranty applies to new DELEKS products purchased from DELEKS USA, Inc. or from a DELEKS-authorized seller in the United States. It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
1. Who Gives This Warranty, and Who It Covers
1.1 The warrantor
This Limited Warranty is given by DELEKS USA, Inc., 1800 West Loop S, Ste 1600, Houston, TX 77027, United States. Toll-Free: (866) 384-3461. Email: quotes@deleks.com. Customer support hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET, Saturday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM ET.
1.2 Who is covered
This warranty extends only to the original purchaser who acquired the product new, for the original purchaser's own use. It is not transferable and does not extend to any subsequent owner, and it does not apply to products acquired second-hand, at auction, as salvage, or as a demonstration or display unit unless DELEKS has confirmed coverage in writing.
1.3 Where the product must have been purchased
As of the effective date of this document, DELEKS USA, Inc. sells directly to customers through its official website. Products purchased from third-party resellers, marketplace sellers, or any other source not authorized by DELEKS are not covered by this Limited Warranty, even if the product is genuine. If and when DELEKS appoints authorized dealers, the current list will be published on the DELEKS USA website and purchases from a listed dealer will be covered on the same terms.
DELEKS may require the original order number or invoice to confirm that the product was purchased through an authorized channel.
2. Warranty Period and Covered Components
Each coverage period below begins on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser. Where more than one period could apply to the same failure, the longer period applies.
| Covered component | Period | Labor reimbursement |
|---|---|---|
| Complete machine — all components not listed below | 12 months | First 12 months |
| Gearboxes (housing, internal gears, shafts and internal bearings) | 36 months | First 12 months |
| Frame and structural welded components — excluding rust, corrosion, paint and surface finish | 24 months | First 12 months |
| Hydraulic cylinders (barrel, rod, and internal seals) — excluding external hoses, fittings and quick couplers | 24 months | First 12 months |
| Normal wear items listed in Section 10 | Not covered | — |
Scope of the extended periods. For coverage beyond the first 12 months, DELEKS supplies the replacement part and pays shipping within the continental United States; labor reimbursement under Section 5 is available during the first 12 months only. Extended coverage applies to the listed component itself and not to other parts damaged by its failure, unless DELEKS confirms otherwise in writing.
3. What DELEKS Will Do
When a defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed within the applicable coverage period, DELEKS will, at its option: supply the necessary replacement part or parts; repair the defective component; or replace the defective component. These are your exclusive remedies under this Limited Warranty, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Most warranty claims are resolved by supplying replacement parts. This is normally the fastest route for the customer, because these machines are heavy and return transportation is slow and expensive.
4. Replacement Parts
If a warranty claim is approved, DELEKS will ship the required replacement part or parts free of charge to a delivery address in the continental United States. DELEKS will decide whether the failed component must be returned before or after the replacement part is shipped, and will tell you which applies when the claim is approved.
Replacement parts supplied under this warranty are covered for the remainder of the original applicable coverage period, or 90 days from the date the replacement part is delivered, whichever is longer.
5. Labor Reimbursement — Flat Rate
Where professional repair is required and DELEKS has authorized it in advance, DELEKS will reimburse labor at the flat-rate amounts set out in the DELEKS Flat-Rate Repair Schedule attached to this Limited Warranty as Appendix A.
The flat-rate amount listed for an operation is the maximum reimbursable for that operation, regardless of the number of hours actually worked or the hourly rate actually charged by the repair facility. Operations that do not appear in Appendix A will be quoted by DELEKS in writing before the repair is authorized.
Reimbursement requires all of the following:
- Prior written authorization from DELEKS, obtained before any work begins;
- Repair performed by a qualified repair facility;
- Submission of a detailed, itemized paid invoice identifying the machine model, the serial number, the operation performed and the parts used;
- The operation appearing in Appendix A, or having been separately quoted in writing by DELEKS.
Which version applies. The version of Appendix A in effect on the date your product was delivered is the version that applies to your product for the life of this warranty. Later revisions of Appendix A do not reduce the reimbursement available to you.
DELEKS will pay approved reimbursements within 15 business days of receiving a complete and compliant invoice.
6. Expenses Not Covered
Unless expressly approved in writing by DELEKS in advance, this warranty does not cover:
- Transportation of the machine to or from the repair facility;
- Technician travel time, mileage, call-out or field-service charges;
- Pickup or delivery services, liftgate charges, residential surcharges, limited-access fees, inside delivery, or customer-requested crating;
- Expedited or express shipping;
- Rental or loan of replacement equipment, storage fees, or the cost of downtime;
- Routine maintenance, adjustment, sharpening, lubricants, fluids, or the labor associated with them;
- Diagnostic time where no covered defect is found.
7. Shipping Destinations
Free shipment of replacement parts applies to delivery addresses in the continental United States (the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia).
For deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other United States territories, or APO/FPO addresses, DELEKS will supply the replacement part free of charge and will contribute the equivalent of standard ground shipping to the continental United States; the customer is responsible for the additional freight cost above that amount. DELEKS will tell you the additional amount before shipping the part.
8. Return of the Complete Machine
If DELEKS determines that inspection of the complete machine is necessary, DELEKS will issue written return instructions, including a return authorization (RMA) number. Do not return any machine without one.
Who pays for return transportation. If inspection confirms a defect covered by this warranty, DELEKS pays the transportation cost in both directions. If inspection does not confirm a covered defect, the customer is responsible for the transportation cost in both directions, and DELEKS will tell you the estimated amount before the machine is shipped back.
8.1 How the machine must be packed
The customer is responsible for packing the machine so that it can travel safely by freight carrier. Freight handling is rough: machines are moved by forklift, stacked, and transferred between trucks several times. A machine that is not properly packed will arrive damaged.
Before shipping, the machine must be:
- Secured to a pallet or skid rated for the weight of the machine, and fixed to it with bolts, steel banding or ratchet straps — shrink wrap, tape or rope alone are not sufficient;
- Protected at all fragile points with foam, cardboard, board or other padding — in particular hydraulic cylinders, hoses and quick couplers, control levers and valves, gauges, guards, blades and cutting edges, machined faces, and painted surfaces;
- Covered against moisture and handling damage;
- Labelled clearly on at least two sides of the pallet with the return authorization number issued by DELEKS, and with the sender's name and address;
- Drained of fuel where the machine has an engine, in accordance with carrier requirements.
Keep the original packaging. The packaging the machine was delivered in is designed for that machine and is the simplest and safest way to meet the requirements above. We strongly recommend keeping it for at least the duration of the warranty period.
Damage caused in transit by inadequate packing is not covered by this Limited Warranty, and the cost of repairing it is the responsibility of the customer. DELEKS photographs every returned machine on arrival and will share those photographs with the customer where the packing is found to be inadequate.
9. Defective Parts and Evidence
Before or after approving a claim, DELEKS may request photographs, video, measurements, diagnostic information, or the return of the defective part. Return of the defective part is required only when DELEKS specifically requests it; where it is requested, DELEKS provides prepaid return shipping for the part.
A part returned at the request of DELEKS becomes the property of DELEKS once a replacement has been supplied under this warranty.
10. Normal Wear Items — Not Covered
The following are consumable or wear items. They are expected to wear out or require replacement in normal service and are not covered by this warranty, except where they are found to be defective on arrival:
- Cutting blades, knives, counter-knives, anvils, chipper knives, wear plates, flails, hammers and cutting edges;
- Belts, chains, sprockets, clutch components, brake bands and friction linings;
- Hydraulic hoses, fittings, quick couplers, and external seals and gaskets (cylinder internal seals are covered as set out in Section 2);
- Filters of every type, spark plugs, air filters, fuel filters and starter cords;
- Shear bolts, shear pins, roll pins, fasteners and shock-absorbing components designed to fail in order to protect the machine;
- Teeth, tines, digging points, bushings, pins, skid shoes and slide plates;
- Tires, wheels, cables, ropes and slings;
- Oil, hydraulic fluid, grease, coolant and other fluids and lubricants;
- Paint, decals, guards, and surface finish.
11. Other Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or operation beyond the published capacity or specifications of the product;
- Improper assembly, improper installation, or improper initial setup;
- Failure to perform the maintenance described in the operator's manual, or use of incorrect fluids or lubricants;
- Unauthorized modification, alteration, or the fitting of parts not supplied or approved by DELEKS;
- Incorrect PTO speed, incorrect PTO rotation direction, excessive or insufficient hydraulic pressure, incorrect hydraulic flow, or incompatibility with the tractor, excavator, skid steer or other carrier machine;
- A PTO driveshaft that was too long, was not cut to the correct length, was cut or assembled incorrectly, or was fitted with the halves reversed — see Section 13;
- Inadequate packing of a machine returned to DELEKS — see Section 8.1;
- Foreign objects entering the machine, including stones, metal, wire and buried debris;
- Rust, corrosion, oxidation, discoloration and cosmetic defects;
- Continued operation after a defect became apparent, where that continued operation increased the damage;
- Fire, flood, storm, freezing, act of God, or transport damage not reported at the time of delivery;
- Normal wear as described in Section 10.
12. Customer Responsibilities
To keep this warranty in force, the customer is responsible for:
- Verifying that the product is compatible with the intended carrier machine before purchase, including PTO speed and rotation, horsepower, hydraulic flow and pressure, hitch category and weight;
- Checking the PTO driveshaft over the full range of the three-point hitch and, where necessary, cutting it to the correct length before first use, as described in Section 13;
- Inspecting the shipment on arrival and reporting visible transport damage before or at the time of delivery;
- Keeping the original packaging for the duration of the warranty period, so that the machine can be returned safely if DELEKS asks for it;
- Reading and following the operator's manual, including all assembly, operating and safety instructions;
- Performing the required maintenance and keeping a record of it;
- Stopping use of the product immediately if a defect is suspected, in order to avoid further damage;
- Keeping the proof of purchase and the machine serial number.
13. PTO Driveshaft — Cutting It to the Correct Length
BEFORE YOU RUN THE MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME
A PTO driveshaft is supplied at a standard length. It is not ready to use as delivered and almost always has to be shortened to fit your tractor. A driveshaft that is left too long is the most frequent cause of the damage we are asked to repair under warranty, and that damage is not covered.
13.1 Why the length matters
The distance between the tractor PTO and the implement PTO is not constant. It is at its shortest when the three-point hitch lifts the implement, and at its longest when the implement is fully lowered or when the tractor turns.
If the driveshaft is too long, the two halves bottom out as the implement is raised and the shaft becomes a rigid strut between tractor and machine. The lifting force of the hitch is then transmitted straight into the driveline. The usual results are a cracked or distorted gearbox housing, a bent or sheared input shaft, destroyed bearings and seals, a split yoke or tube on the driveshaft itself, and damage to the tractor's own PTO output shaft.
13.2 What you must check before first use
With the engine off, the key removed and the PTO disengaged:
- Fit the machine to the tractor and connect the driveshaft.
- Move the three-point hitch slowly through its full range, from fully lowered to fully raised, and check the driveshaft at every point in that range.
- At the shortest point, the two halves must never bottom out, and a clearance must remain between the ends of the inner tubes.
- At the longest point, the two halves must still retain at least the minimum overlap specified by the driveshaft manufacturer.
- If the driveshaft bottoms out at any point, it must be shortened before the machine is used — both inner and outer tubes, and both plastic guards, cut by the same amount, following the driveshaft manufacturer's instructions.
- Deburr and grease the tubes after cutting, and check that both guard chains are fitted and attached.
13.3 Watch the video first
DELEKS publishes a step-by-step video, “Instructions for cutting the PTO driveshaft”, on the DELEKS USA website. Please watch it before cutting anything. If you are not confident carrying out the work, have it done by a qualified dealer or repair shop — it is a short job and it protects the whole driveline.
13.4 Effect on this warranty
Damage caused by a PTO driveshaft that was too long, was not cut to the correct length, was cut incorrectly, was incorrectly assembled, or was fitted with the two halves reversed, is not a defect in materials or workmanship and is not covered by this Limited Warranty. This applies whether or not the driveshaft was supplied by DELEKS, and it extends to any component damaged as a consequence, including the gearbox, the input shaft, bearings, seals and the frame.
14. How to Submit a Claim
14.1 Deadline
A warranty claim must be submitted to DELEKS within 90 days of the date the failure occurs or is discovered, and in any event within the applicable coverage period set out in Section 2. DELEKS has no obligation under this warranty in respect of a failure reported after that deadline.
14.2 What to send
Contact DELEKS Customer Support and provide all of the following:
- Proof of purchase — the original order number, invoice or receipt showing the date of purchase and the seller;
- The machine model and the serial number, as shown on the identification plate;
- A description of the problem, including when it occurred and what the machine was doing at the time;
- Clear photographs of the defect, of the identification plate, and of the complete machine;
- Video of the fault where the problem is intermittent, mechanical or noise-related;
- Details of the carrier machine — make, model, PTO speed, hydraulic flow and pressure, as applicable.

15. Unauthorized Repairs
Do not repair the machine, and do not authorize any third party to repair it, before receiving written authorization from DELEKS. Repairs carried out without prior written authorization are not reimbursable and are not covered by this warranty, and may void coverage on the affected component. The only exception is action that is strictly necessary and immediate to prevent further damage or to make the machine safe; in that case, stop as soon as the machine is secure, document what was done with photographs, and contact DELEKS without delay.
16. Limitation of Implied Warranties
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE WRITTEN WARRANTY PERIOD SET OUT IN SECTION 2 OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
17. Exclusion of Incidental and Consequential Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DELEKS IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE PRODUCT. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST OR DAMAGED CROPS OR TIMBER, LOSS OF USE, DOWNTIME, THE COST OF RENTING REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT, STORAGE COSTS, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, AND COMMERCIAL LOSS.
Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the obligation of DELEKS under this Limited Warranty is limited to the remedies described in Section 3, and the total liability of DELEKS in respect of any product shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that product.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
19. Your Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
20. Questions and Complaints
DELEKS has not established an informal dispute settlement mechanism under 16 C.F.R. Part 703. If you are not satisfied with how a warranty claim has been handled, you may escalate it in writing to quotes@deleks.com, or to DELEKS USA, Inc., 1800 West Loop S, Ste 1600, Houston, TX 77027, United States.
